Acrylic on canvas in reponse to
work done by children in three
primary schools in Dublin.
Exploring the grounds of their schools, the children found clear distinctions between the biodiversity found in tightly mown and treated grass and the verges they had deliberately left to wild themselves.
Through painting, the children used adjectives in both English and Irish to illustrate the variety of interest they found in the 'wild' sites.
In collaboration with Green Sod Ireland
and South Dublin Council.
