Rosie Alabaster attended Central St Martins gaining a first in BA Theatre Design in 1998 and an MA in Performance Design in 2000. Having practised as a freelance designer and lectured in theatre and installation art, Rosie is now also working as an illustrator and presentation designer.
Rosie is passionate about the environment and has stood for the Green Party in local elections
Theatre Design work includes We Didn't Mean To Go To Sea (revival), Oysters, Margaret Catchpole, We Didn’t Mean To Go To Sea, The Anatomist, Beyond the Breakers, Another Three Sisters, East Anglian Psychos, The Day the Earth Wobbled a Bit and Master of Mayhem for Eastern Angles. Other work includes An Experiment with an Air Pump The Royal Court Upstairs, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Amadeus Derby Playhouse; The Tempest for Cambridge Arts Theatre; Shakespeare Revue at Salisbury Playhouse, The Miser for the Wolsey Theatre.
Between 2005 and 2013 she became a Teaching Fellow lecturing in Theatre Design and Installation Art at Royal Holloway, University of London.
